Ninja won his first international fight!!!

Last saturday my student Juliano Ninja, that has been training in Liverpool with me and Colin for the last few weeks, had his first international fight. It was in Northampton at the "Shoot N Sprawl" show. Ninja fought very well, doing exactly what we had trained for this fight. He won by submission (RNC) in the 1 round. i am very happy with this result.

Seminar in Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

Hi guys,
Last weekend i went to Middlesbrough and Sunderland to do some seminars.
In Middlesbrough i was on Team Redemption`s gym and the seminar was great, the guys there are so nice and talented that i felt very pleased to be there. The following day i went to the Spartan`s Gym in Sunderland and the atmosphere was great, everyone was very cool and i could notice that the fighters there were very good too.
At the end of the weekend i came back to Liverpool very happy because i was able to spread Luta Livre and make a lot of new friends.

Thanks to everyone that attended to my seminars!!!

Another brazilian student is here to train with me.

One of my students from Brazil just arrived for 5 weeks of training with me and Colin at Kaobon. Juliano "Ninja" is a BJJ Black Belt and a Luta Livre purple belt. He got a very good ground game and will improve even more now. He is a crazy guy tho!!!

Fight Stars!!

Fight Stars was a great event. My boys did their job perfectly. Kaobon had 4 guys fighting and all 4 won by submission in the first round. I am very proud of them.

Seminar in Leeds was great.

The Luta Livre Seminar at Leeds Cage Gym in Leeds was great. The guys there are so nice and talented. It was a great pleasure to share some of my Luta Livre with them. I am looking forward to the next time there on the 3rd of October.

Luta Livre Grading.

Today was a very nice day, i graded the third Luta Livre team of UK`s history.
Over 60 guys were graded, and i am really proud of each of them.
The family is getting bigger and it makes me so happy, and makes woth all the things i left behind for this goal of spreading Luta Livre around the world.
Congratulations to the new members of the Luta Livre family.

Michele Verginelli coming to Liverpool.

My great friend and very good fighter Michele Verginelli is coming from Italy to train with me for some time. He gets here next monday and is starting his camp to his upcoming fights on August. I am looking foward to it as michele is a great guy.

Etim and Kelly training Camp.

This morning i started to work hard with Etim and Kelly for their upcoming fights on UFC 116 and 118. It was great to see how good they are getting on their Luta Livre skills. They will be very sharp and have a top performance for sure.

Hello guys,

A lot of people asked me to do a blog to inform where i will be teaching, doing seminars and also to tell how my student`s preparation are, so i just created this.

I usually live in a rush, with students from UK and Brazil fighting all the time i usually don`t have much time but i promise i will try my best to keep it updated.
